How fucking frustrating is that fellas? Feel absolutely horrible. First half it looked we could have had 2 or 3 then went to absolute ratshit as soon as they take their 1 chance. 4-4-2 was fucking awful. In hindsight maybe we shouldn't have made any subs. We looked fucking desperate as soon as they scored cos we created fuck all just pumped it long and couldn't find a red shirt

As soon as Krovinovic and Knockaert go off creativity vanishes. That game is a wake up call to just how bad we can be. Taylor and Ameobi are not good enough. I so hope we don’t regret the last 3 games as the moment we could have escaped relegation as we did with the play offs last season.

The massive change was swapping knockers with lolley after that it went down hill fast.. Agree good observation. As soon as knockaert went to the left it went tits up. We need him cutting inside with the option to go outside. Duno what has happened to our shooting. Lolleys shot from that free kick knockaert gave him was tame, knockaert dragging his shot wide from short corner, Krovinovic hitting wide. Murray with a tame header towards keeper and heading wide all night, cafu hitting straight at keeper and hitting it wide and over all night. Only decent effort was garner towards bottom corner and keeper made a good save. Only thing I can remember was samba picking the ball out the back of the net... When teams like Luton are taking their 1 chance and we have 10 chances and don't score 1 it feels fucking awful

That Ribeiro is fucking shit as well We just have to much shit all over the pitch Taylor is the shitiest of the lot of them Jamie. That’s why he wouldn’t play for Charlton because he can’t believe his luck that teams fucking wanted him and he might get injured. I wouldn’t either - it’s like that cunt who convinced Souness he was George Weir’s cousin Anyway plenty on here want Hughton’s football so they can’t complain Me personally he is no better than Karanka (or on my opinion Megson

The massive change was switching knockers with lolley after that it went down hill fast.. Why did he do that? Knockhaert was doing well over there then disappeared completely

Knockhaert was doing well over there the disappeared completely And then brought ameobi on who received a pass and just gave it back to the player, that's whatb pisses me off the most. How can he say he put a shift in after coming on. You've got people like worrall busting a gut to get to the byline and try and put a cross in, alright he ran it out of ay but at least he's trying. Ameobi just didn't look arsed

This is the biggest game of the season for me, living in the area I do I will never hear the end of it if we lose to this tin-pot team! They will be on a high after their comeback from 2-0 down at the weekend - my mates tell me they are shaky at the back and missing their two first pick centre halves so hopefully we can exploit that weakness. Play like we did at Swansea or after we scored against Derby and I fancy us to grab a few goals. My concern is that we are generally slow starters at home and our better performances recently seem to come away from home. Sorry bro, I guess you have a few weeks of living in shame You could just pretend to have covid and 'self isolate' for a few weeks

Hard to believe Taylor top goalscorer 4 goals after 34 games Not at all. Said in the Season's prediction thread that the team would struggle to score, partly down to players and defensive formation adopted by successive managers. Yesterday only emphasized our lack of firepower up forward depending on Glenn Murray, Grabban (injured currently) and Taylor who are all over 30, less mobile, and don't suit the style and formation utilised by Haughton. The issue was the striker(s) had sufficient, clear cut opportunities to convert but wasted those chances to which we regretted afterwards. Then Luton literally in the second half packed the defence, bringing their players back to defend, only making the occasional counter-attack. (Doesn't this tactic sound familiar?). Instead of switching to a fast-pace counter, switch play or long ball to stretch Luton we continued to play an one-sided gradual passing game that had difficulty breaking down a solid defence.

Last night, Murray looked nearer 48 than 38. Taylor looked absolute shite, ( which he has done for most of the season), and our only other striker of note is injured. We have to address this in the Summer. A quality striker has to be our priority signing.
Luton started off with a diamond formation that left them open down both flanks. CH took advantage of that by playing two out and out wingers to get crosses in. It worked to a certain extent, but the big problem was, the crosses were falling for an ageing donkey, who, after a promising start against basement club Wycombe, has looked shite ever since.
Second half, Luton adopted a 4-5-1 formation and scored. CH's answer to this? Go two up front and leave us short in midfield. How the fuck are you a) going to create chances when you have lost the midfield, and b) how are you going to score when you have two of worst strikers in the league on the pitch?
CH lost out tactically to Luton's manager. The loss not entirely CH's fault though. We did enough in the first 45 to have been at least two up. The second half highlighted CH's lack of a plan B.
Some really tough games coming up now, and losing at home to Luton doesn't inspire me with much confidence going into these games.

No idea why or how Knockaert hasn't scored more this season. Any theories? If he'd chipped in with 5/10 we'd be pushing for the playoffs He's only really had that one great season when Brighton went up. Other than that he's been pretty average and never much of a goal scorer. He only got three last season for Fulham, 2 the season before that, 3 before that (albeit in the Premier) and even when he went up with Leicester getting 100 points he only scored five.

There is a reason that Watford had one look at Murray and told him to fuck off and he was training on his own at the end. This isn’t Man City this is a fucking team in our league Whilst I cannot stand Hughton - last night showed how shit players like Christie, Ribeiro, Figuredo, Cafu, Taylor, Murray, Ameobi and even Lolley really are Some ne’er do wells, some over the hill and some look like they couldn’t give a fuck Fucking team is rotten
