I thought we could use a thread for this, make the place look a bit busier if nothing else.

Obviously nobody in their right mind is backing Leeds or West Brom but I'm surprised at how short Brentford are. They're too far back for automatic and no better placed than Forest or Preston yet a much shorter price. I like Brentford but 6/4 is a terrible price.
Blackburn look the best value, in decent form only three points off the play offs now.

Thanks for giving Blackburn your seal of approval
All things considering, despite the shocking result on Friday, we're not really any worse off. Its the usual championship battle for the playoffs, where no one seems to want to take advantage.
What do you think of Derby's chances? Keep thinking they might be a threat but too inconsistent surely - and they play 7 of the top 9 in their run in.

Lots of rumours about that Peter Whittingham has died after falling down the stairs. Pretty fucked up. Edit, apparently he's alive but in hospital.

Who are we supporting in the play offs then? I'd like Brentford, party as I think they deserve it but mostly as I've got quite a big football index investment in Benrahma and Watkins. I suspect they've missed their chance though, I'm going to tip* Swansea to put them out before losing to Cardiff/Fulham in the final. *fingers crossed this does for them what I did for Blackburn....

I guess Fulham or Brentford, just because if we ever get our act together, that'll be one of the better teams out of the way next season.

Wigan deducted 12pts for going into administration. This has immediate effect, and sends Wigan down and Barnsley stay up.
Sheff Weds deducted 12pts for breach of financial rules, but won't take effect until next season, thus saving Wednesday from the drop, and Charlton go down.
Wigan to appeal their 12pt deduction, meaning that Barnsley may well be relegated. Charlton kicking up a stink, and will appeal the Wednesday decision. They feel the 12pt deduction should be immediate, thus sending Wednesday down.
How can the EFL so easily make themselves look like a bunch of muppets? The Wednesday hearing was heard by an independent panel, whilst the Wigan points deduction was triggered by a breach of league rules and was imposed by the EFL. But, surely if Wednesday were in breach of financial rules THIS season, then the deduction should be imposed for this season.
So, the season is over, but all we know is that HUll are definitely relegated. Perm any two from four for the remaining 2 places.

Hopefully the Shaggers will be hit with a similar points deduction.

Hopefully the Shaggers will be hit with a similar points deduction. I'm hoping it'll be nearer 21pts for Derby. 12 pts for the farce of the ground sale, and 9 points over Rooney's salary....supposedly paid by some form of sponsorship.

Fulham then. That's disappointing. I'd have liked to see Brentford in the Premier, they play decent football and at least it's someone new. And I'd already got Benrahma and Watkins penciled in as cheap options in the fantasy football. Fulham and West brom are right boring addition to the top flight. Especially West Brom, they've been hanging around the Premier League for years and have never done anything of any interest ![]()

It's such a shame to see Wigan's young exciting squad decimated by other clubs stripping assets on the cheap.
In other news, Derby sign a 35 year old goalkeeper from Wigan

I see Watford have binned their coach and his staff. If the rumours are true that it’s connected to Deeney that’s a sad state of affairs. Who’d want to be the manager of a setup like that?

10-games is a joke, especially since Wednesday (like us) are suffering from the owner's incompetence that caused a points deduction and a weakened squad. Not sure what changed in 10-games, but it shows a badly run football club (just like we will prove we are when we sack Houghton and probably bring Pulis in to replace him).

That's when ER will do a Doughty in his garage.......and I might just join him. Don't even think Pulis, let alone say it Smiffy.

I expect Bournemouth will go up from the playoffs to make it 3 teams who bounce back straight away.
Danjuma must have been the best player in the championship these past 3/4 months. Great talent

And with two of the promoted teams, plus one from the year before, coming back down that'll be the most boring promotion/relegation of all time
