No they don't want kids at home. Perhaps you should try entertaining 2 kids under 7 in the Confines of a small flat with no garden. 15 hrs a day, every day.

My wife is a teacher and has been in every day looking after key workers children and vulnerable children. My kids are off school and so my 73 year old mum has to look after them every day as I am working as well.
Tbh I think the vaccination is bollocks and will not work - then they will just say it is a new strain as they have already started to with South African and Brazilian strains
Mark my words - the next strain will be Russian and we will still be doing all this same shit by July

“it is not so much about staying alive, it is staying human that is important” George Orwell 1984 If my children allowed me to have a jab and I was in a nursing home I would make my whole will out to Battersea dogs home (I probably will anway) I would sign a waiver tomorrow to say I am going out and about without a mask - if I catch it and I call the NHS you can charge me for it Know about ten people who have had it ranging from a day feeling a bit rough and a couple of weeks with heavy flu symptoms The people who have died probably had as much chance of dying if they caught the flu The whole point is, our hospitals cannot cope. Have you seen the news on this issue, its fucking horrific. Is the nightingale full then? Someone mentioned how many NHS workers are off on the sick as well the other day due to non COVID related issues I think it is made a lot worse by the media. I know quite a lot of people who had Covid and not one of them has been to hospital

Out of all my immediate family, my mum, sister, me and the missus are the only ones who haven't had covid. All my daughter's, their husbands and kids have had it. Son in laws mum nearly died with no other health issues. Just watch the news.

I remember when the general section of this place was THE place to chat, forest talk came a poor second. No fucker bothers nowadays. Shame.

I agree with you on that but I suppose the only news for the past year has been Covid-19 and that is such a divisive issue it's not worth debating as people are either in one camp or the other any any attempt to discuss the matter just descends into an argument.
Plus it doesn't help that most people aren't allowed out so no new life experiences to talk about.

Other than the media frenzy and Americans, does anybody actually give a shit about the Harry and Meghan interview?

Other than the media frenzy and Americans, does anybody actually give a shit about the Harry and Meghan interview? Only to wonder what next. After this they’re yesterday’s news. No royal connection they’re now just another pair of Hollywood dogooders and we’re drowning in them.

Other than the media frenzy and Americans, does anybody actually give a shit about the Harry and Meghan interview? Yes. 99% of all women with access to a television. They fucking thrive on the crap. Like Diana's funeral. The brain dead bints.

I didn't watch it and I've never been a big fan of the royals, but this is a stitch up job.
How can Harry sell his whole family down the river for a few million quid and the chance of being his wife's bag carrier?
Some of the relevations... - Harry leaves his job and is shocked that he is no longer paid. - Meghan cried after a soon to be bride, snapped at her. - Man who dressed as a Nazi to a halloween party is shocked when it turns out his family is a little bit racist. - Woman who marries into royal family, claims to have done no research on them, but happens to be an expert on how royal titles are handed down at birth. - 30m wedding paid for by I assume the taxpayer, turned out to be a fake.

I never know anything about any Royal stories. I don't know why they're doing an interview or what the fuss is about and haven't got enough interest to find out. I only know anything at all because of Hannah relentlessly tweeting about it.
Quite often there'll be a story in the news and I'll think it looks too boring to take any notice of but then it goes on for ages and I feel like I should know what it was about but I've missed the start so it's not worth it now. But then it turns out it's gone on for so long that the point I thought it wasn't worth it was actually quite near the start but by then I'm too stubborn/lazy to find out.
'Brexit'? What the hell was that all about?

Ive zero interest in Harry and bloody Meghan. It reminds me of the interview Robin Tyson did, cunting off Mike while the pussywhipped idiot just sat there.

Why do the old bill kneel down in front of BLM activists, yet chuck women about in a violence against women protest?

They’ve just had a Nottingham Park on the news, shameful breaches of social distancing, a large crowd of people just going mad, you wouldn’t get that close to people even if there wasn’t a pandemic! What was that all about, then?

Why are pens always so shit? I buy a pen, I use it once, and then the next time I try to use it, it doesn't work anymore. This must have happened with 90% of pens I've ever bought. How do they even get away with this?
In related news I found a felt tip pen over Christmas. It must have been close to 30 years old, I was expecting it to be all dried up but it was as good as new. Would it be socially acceptable for me to write only using felt tips from now on?
Well, that's my contribution to the news thread.
