This is totally different than under lamouchi, under him we had a decent performance here and there we showed up to some good games and got the win but more so had games where we scraped a win or draw. Agree with this. That season was a bit baffling in that we were up there but a lot of that was the usual inconsistency that defines this league. I couldn’t quite work out how we were up there and watching us, I got the sense the players didn’t feel on solid ground either and were just waiting for it all to go ( and boy did it go wrong). They just look to be brimming with confidence now and I think the Liverpool game cemented that confidence. Short of putting 11men right in front of goal, we’re banging them in for fun and that’s given us a very healthy goal difference. what little I’ve seen of Surridge, I very much like. When that ball lands at his feet it always looks like it’s going in. Here’s hoping.

I wish we'd never have appointed Cooper. I can't come on here now and have a good moan about how shit our manager is. Seriously though, I love the guy. I had my doubts when we appointed him, but WOW, he's worked a miracle in getting to us to where we are now, and he's doing it the right way playing expansive, attacking football which is a joy to watch. I just wish we would have sacked the awful Hughton at the end of last season, and had Cooper here for the start of the campaign. Imagine where we'd be if we hadn't given the rest of the league a 7 game start.
It's so good being a Forest fan at the moment. Long may it continue.

Yeah mate, a lot of people were critical about him and Davis when they joined and based on stats solely I can see why, but I've always watched a lot of the championship and prem and I was confident that Davis could be effective for us and I knew surridge had quality in the limited chances he had at Bournemouth, Swansea and stoke, he is a strong finisher. Arguably one of the best strike forces we have had in many many years maybe dating back to Marlon and DJ ( I know we haven't got 2 20 goal a season strikers but in terms of looking effective and like we can score) only other strike force I can think of is assombalonga and Antonio.

Agree mate but who knows what would have happened if things panned out differently, if we sacked hughton before season started maybe we would have gone for another manager... Maybe if we didn't have such a shit start the manager, staff, players wouldn't have had this much of a reaction, maybe they are using the crap start to prove a point ( not saying they are trying any more than they would have done if we took numerous points from them 10 games) at the end of the day it is what it is and we just have to keep going and nail a play off place then we can focus on who we are going to dismantle to get to the prem
