Expect to see lots of clichés used now up until the end of the season and I'm going to use a couple 'massive game' 'cup final'.
Being the early kick off gives us the chance to stamp our authority. After watching Luton against Huddersfield on Monday night I didn't think Luton were up to much, they got a couple of injuries too to mpanzu ( who looks sure to miss this game) and Lansbury who could be back. Been hearing a bit most of the season about adebayo up front for them but he looked like a poor mans keinans Davis on Monday and was always going to miss that pen.
We need to keep on going full steam ahead with intensity and be ruthless, it's got the potential to be tricky but I think if we can grab the game by the scruff of the neck and take it to them we can keep this running form going with a couple of goals.
Win and we put more pressure on Bournmouth for 2nd place. Lose and we stabilise a playoff place. Luton have had a fab season likewise and fully expect it to be a tough game. Don’t expect it to be high scoring. Going to go for 0-1.
Some folk on Twitter celebrating Zincs being out of the team, another who is capable in coming off the bench to change things if needed. Wonder how many actually have been or go to a game.
Zinks seems to quite easily turn into a Scape goat for fans. I think he has been fairly solid and contributes well all over the pitch, yes one or 2 occasions you expected him to give a bit more of an end product but I don't agree that he can be identified as a weak link in the team. If he does come on with 20 mins to go looking to create something I think he will do a good job. Hope grabban hits the ground running today and I'm sure he will. Great back up off the bench, we just need to give it the full effort and tempo for 90 mins and I'm confident we will be hard to stop
If Zink is our weak link it shows how far we have come. Agreed his end product can be disappointing but least he is getting in those positions. Nonetheless, I trust Cooper’s decisions and sure it will pay off.
Need to get Johnston into the game if we can, Luton are closing us down quickly and not allowing to build. To be fair to Grabban he is getting into some decent positions. Hoping Cooper can get them going in the second half.
Yep agree, luton Doing a good job, look 10x the team they were against Huddersfield on Monday night. We haven't got anything going and grabban should have scored but equally samba did well to thwart them before that.
I hope we do a bit of tinkering and that it pays off. Next goal is crucial, whoever scores next wins the game in my opinion. we just haven't got going.
And for what it's worth I don't know how samba dives the other way based on that run up, it looked for all the world that the player would put it in the corner he did put it in, can't work out how samba would go the other way.
