Lovely finish surridge, thoroughly deserved it from tonight and every performance he puts in, great team goal, bit disappointed we didn't keep the tempo up but I guess they had to be sensible with injuries etc.

I reckon they were lucky Davis wasn't playing. They camped out on the edge of their own box for most of the 3nd half and he would've unlocked 'em l reckon.

Figs with another great performance, did brilliantly going for them headers with Andy Carroll, wasn't bothered about being tight and physical with him, one stupid foul going through the back of him when he was never going to win the ball but another solid game from him, never thought I would be eager to try and offer him a new deal but he is starting to win me over. Don't get me wrong he doesn't start when we have a fully fit back line but he has found his position in the centre of that back 3. Looks a completely different player to a centre back in a back 4
