With Man U close to signing Eriksen and Martinez we could be seeing James Garner back on loan.

While we're on the subject, why's everyone kicking off over this diabolical away membership scheme? As I'm a bit thick on such matters, can somebody fill me in? ("I've been wanting to do that for years you twat") Haven’t spoken to anyone about it but reading about it on the website my view is it had the same failing as the home membership in that it focuses solely on games attended last season. It’s supposed to reward loyalty but it takes a very short term view of loyalty. I’ve spent a small fortune watching this club over 18 years but because I didn’t go last season I’m not eligible for either a home or away membership. Yet someone who might have only ever seen one Forest match in their life can buy a home membership in next week’s cycle provided that match was last season. What an absolute farce it was yesterday the way these rip off memberships were dished out. I might be wrong here, but it seems to me that nobody on here bothers going, but it looks like they fucked off any aspect of loyalty and opened it up into a free for all amongst season ticket holders. So a lot of bandwagon jumpers who purchased half season tickets just after Xmas last season have now got first refusal on away games. Absolute jokers.

Greater Nottingham has a population of +700,000, so, with a capacity of 26k for the home fans, the City Ground is woefully short of hosting the fan base now we are back in the Prem, to the point where no tickets will ever make it to general sale. It was difficult getting a ticket last season while we were in the Championship, not a chance now we are back in the Prem.

I had a season ticket for over 20 years but stopped when my first lad was born as I wanted to be around a bit more. That lad is now 11 and is Forest mad and sods law we can't get tickets so I've signed up to IPTV to soften the blow.

I think it's kind of a welcome to the prem moment. Pretty much every team in the premier league doesn't have enough home capacity. Certainly the bigger clubs. I think Villa have about a 10 year waiting list for season tickets and as for away tickets, my pal has been a season ticket holder for about 10 years and even he can't get away tickets as he doesn't have priority over others. It's going to be a lot worse for us next season when they shut the Peter Taylor to renovate it.

I remember going to Salisbury away in the fa cup 1st round, not far for me, but I'll counter that by telling you I went to the replay at the C.G, midweek, 7.45 kick off. Plus Woking in the JTP, Yeading in the fa cup at the C.G. Friendlies at Gillingham and Aldershot, Rushden & Diamonds.. plus others. In L1 I did a fair few aways. Obviously did loads in previous seasons, but I'm talking about when we were at our lowest. None of these cunts were there for them fuckers.

I remember when we were in the old Division 2 in the 70's and going to Ipswich at home in a midweek night game, with 7500 fans there. I did Chelsea away with about 250 Forest fans there. Fast forward to 77/78 when we got promoted. I did Brum away early in the season, and the terrace behind the goal was rammed with Forest fans. Must have been 6000 in that away end. I did Wolves away a few weeks later, and it was the same. I was that pissed off with the glory hunters that the only other match I attended that season, whilst we were winning the League, was West Ham away. I don't think I even did a home game.

Remember when me & you were on the train coming back from Derby one night and that copper asked everyone to vacate the carriage as there some 'bad lads' getting on? 🤣🤣. "Nah, yer alright mate"..anyway, a game against our local rivals & l just rang up the ticket office as they were on general sale...general sale, Derby v Forest, that wouldn't happen with any local derby in England! Fickle bastards.

I’m with you mate, I was at the Cup game with Hayes & Yeading too, Weymouth, Lincoln away, plus more rubbish League One matches than I care to remember. We stood by this club during its darkest hour but that loyalty hasn’t been rewarded.

Yeah, I don’t agree with it either, as I said earlier in the thread it applies a very short term understanding of loyalty. I logged in what I thought was early but still saw me number 7042 or something in the queue! By the time it was my turn they only had the Bronze memberships left. I went for one but wonder whether it will really be of any practical use? I imagine it might get me the odd ticket to a midweek match with someone like Fulham, but I tend to work too late to get to midweek games 😂. It does allow me to access the fan to fan resale portal in case anybody changes their mind and doesn’t want to go to Forest v Liverpool.....🤣

Rumblings we are about to put in a bid for James Garner, cost a lot less than MGW

I've seen so many of our fans urging us to sign Garner and Davis. Why?
Man Utd are a mess on the pitch, yet Garner can't get anywhere near their first team. Davis, what's he doing now? Oh yeah, he's out injured.....again.
Forget these two, and forget MGW. West Ham have put Benrahma up for sale. I'd take him over Garner and Davis any day of the week.

I like Davis but only for a reasonable fee. Villa were taking the piss suddenly wanting £15m for a player I'd have expectd them to have taken about £4m for a few months earlier. Although now they've seen what we're bidding for Gibbs-White they're going to want even more.
Benrahma was great for me in the fantasy football. I'd be happy to sign him just for that. For similar reasons I hope we never sign Harry Wilson - absolute tosser.
