Full time. Doesn’t matter whether you’re Cooper or Clough, Mr Marianakis will not be a happy man tonight. Throw away a two goal lead to a similar club struggling in this league makes it a big concern about our defence. McKenna Worrall and Cook at the back are not good enough in this league based on our current showing.
This result feels like a smack in the face much worse that the 6-0 on Wednesday night and that £150m spent suddenly sounds a much bigger number.
Not a lot making sense at the moment.

Still stunned, this team lost 9-0 the other week yet still manage to put 3 past us. Got to find our best 11 soon, especially in winnable games as there are a few coming up and we really need to bag some points.

The back 3 are all 100% trier’s but working hard is only part of the requirement. They need quality as well at this level. That is what was lacking today, and remember Bournemouth are not a great side. When you have 21 new players you have to accept they are going to take time to gel. What was strange to me,and I’m not knocking SC, was not picking an out and out striker.

Maybe find another captain. There are some much more experienced players who have come in who might be able to rally the troops better. Serious concerns now about our defences reputation. Will be playing 3 defensive midfielders at this rate.
That kind of performance is going to put pressure on Cooper so I hope the core unit from last season are happy.

Disappointing to say the least.
Hard to understand why Coops stuck with the same back 3 for the whole match with Boly and Biancone on the bench. We missed O'Brien and Yates had another match to forget. This one will hurt and we need to pick ourselvs up fast.

Maybe the club slipped in a £10m bet on Bournemouth to win at half time and now we have covered our transfer business successfully 😀

Not a good result, but there is still a lot of season left to play. No point slashing our wrists.

Got to find our best 11 soon, especially in winnable games as there are a few coming up and we really need to bag some points. To be fair teams who’ve recently been hammered tend to come out and do better in the next few games as they have a point to prove. Teams who recently sacked their manager tend to do the same. Bournemouth tick both of those boxes. I had a feeling today would be difficult. Being 2-0 up at half time flattered us, the goals were a set piece and penalty and we didn’t really create a proper chance in the first half from open play. The instinctive response after conceding three might be to question the defence but in all honesty we didn’t offer that much in attack either.

Not a good result, but there is still a lot of season left to play. No point slashing our wrists. Never a reason to slash one’s wrists in my view but it is concerning that we lost to a team who are being billed as relegation contenders. Nobody expected us to beat Man City but if we’re to stay up you’d have thought we should be winning games like this.

What a fucking disaster, I know its only one game but enough warning signs appearing
Why start with no striker even at home to Bournemouth? We've been poor at creating decent chances
Defenders seem to be costing us two easy goals a game
Midfield- why drop obrien? Yates looks out of his depth. Why so defensive?
Cooper needs to just pick his best XI with some actual attackers. He's got too many players, we don't know who to play, how to play, and no sub he's made so far has had any impact

Maybe teams who sacked there manager will come out and play better but still no excuse whatsoever to lose. 2-0 lead at home taking into account the money we have spent. Maybe the reason we don't offer much in attack is that we don't play a striker at the moment and we were going to get another one in.

Henderson Worrall cook McKenna Williams kouyate Yates Lodi Gibbs white Johnson lingard Considering the money spend, that side's got quite a Championship look about it. Obviously at least one of Awiyini and Dennis should be starting every game, but what's the deal with Freuler? He was a regular starter for years for one of best sides in Italy, shouldn't he be the first name down in midfield? He's gone from captaining a side in the Champions League quarter finals to behind Yates, Kouyate, and Colback. Very odd.

Furthermore why pay £9m for a 30 year old if you’re not going to play him?

I think there may be trouble ahead Me too Ben. I heard that Marinakis Jnr and Dane Murphy had a bit of a ding dong after the Bournemouth match. Something at the club doesn't sit right with me. We had 8 players on the pitch who were in the Championship last season, yet players who were in the Champions League last season sat on the bench. I know Coops likes a tight knit group of players, and he knew that Emanuelle Dennis has an attitude problem, and was insistent that he didn't want him at the club, yet the club still signed him. I looked at Saturday's starting XI and thought that Coops was trying to make a statement over the signings. Neither of the 2 new strikers starting.....for the 3rd game running. Cook, Worrall, and Yates starting when we had better on the bench. Colback coming on in the second half when we had better on the bench. It just seemed very strange to me, and if Coops is trying to make a statement, which ultimately costs us points, he's backing a loser against the fat bubble. Some fan's already saying Cooper out of his depth in the Prem and should be sacked if we lose to Leeds. That is utter madness, but when you have an owner who, unbelieveably, said he wants a top 6 finish this season, you'd have to say that the next 3 matches could define our, and Cooper's, season. I'd rather give Cooper time to try and sort this out. He probably doesn't have a clue of what his best starting XI is at the moment, but at least we know what we get with Cooper. He tries to play attractive football, and does have a fantastic bond with 99.9% of the fans. What are the alternatives? Sean Dyche is at just about every home game, and would be a contender to replace Coops. Let's be careful of what we wish for.

I'd not heard that about Murphy and Junior but he seems to be getting more involved each week. There are so many people in Executive roles now it's hard to understand the structure. That little fucker Vrentzos is still around as well. We obviously have to give Cooper more time but I struggle to see where the next points are coming from. EM is deluded if he thinks he can buy top 6 like that....guessing not many people dare point this out though.

In all fairness, their first was unstoppable, there 2nd happened when we had 10 players on the pitch, a much better chance of getting it cleared had Yates been there instead of waiting to come back on.. And the 3rd resulted from a mistake by McKenna, it happens. Circumstances went against us.
