Shirt sponsor confirmed from 2023- UNHCR- the United nations Refugee agency (an international charity that supports relief efforts for people fleeing from conflict and persecution around the world).
Very refreshing this day and age to see our club go for a sponsor like this and again think we can take pride that we are doing a good deed in tough times. The club has also made a donation to the charity.

Great gesture, I've read Marinakis does a lot to support migrants that arrive into Greek Islands so it must be close to his heart.
How much are they paying us then? 🤔

How much are they paying us then? 🤔 Ha Duno mate, we seem to be really involved with international and local charities which is nice and a far cry from what Fawaz would have done. At the end of the day we are a business though and would expect us to make a financial gain off it, but if it's purely a selfless act and we just see it as doing a good deed and are concentrating on generating income from different areas then so be it, it's nice to know that it isn't just a gesture of good will to make us ' look good' as the charitable nature's seems to be engrained right through the club from the top down. Wish we weren't so generous with handing out big contracts to way below par players in the past ha

Hands up if you prefer the shirt with no sponsor on it?

Hands up if you prefer the shirt with no sponsor on it? Not at all, we should be very proud of our connection to UNHCR and superficially in these times a shirt without a sponsor looks out of place. It’s not the 1970s.

I would prefer one that gave the club money with this charity on the sleeve or something

I may be being cynical here, but when i heard this news i immediately wondered if there were some favourable tax breaks we might be getting for this that outweighed any sponsor offers
