Wolves defender just headed a volley off the line with the keeper beaten. Looks like villa pressing Goal villa 1-1 with wolves Villa just missed glorious chance to win it. |

Massive three points! Well done boys - ot sounded like Southampton barely had a stiff, Boly and Worrall have been impressive (as much as I like McKenna)
Great to be out of the bottom 3 and we'll take confidence into the next set of winnable league games
I can see Southampton and Bournemouth going down. I think it'll be between Forest, Everton and Leeds for the other spot

Great result, but not a great performance against a team which is almost certainly going down. Nathan Jones is so far out of his depth at this level. What were Soton thinking? Did they not look at his time at Stoke, just 6 wins in 38 games?
It's great to finally get an away win, but the tendancy for us to sit back at 1-0 is a bit of a worry. Even so, the result was far more important than the performance. Great to be out oof the boottom 3.

And I thought we rode our luck a bit with the way we let them come onto us last night. Granted they didn't have any chances but it only takes getting half a yard to flash at goal and they did start to get in some dangerous positions, especially down the right. But the 3 points massively outweighed the performance last night |
