Bit of an odd one to call this in so far as both teams should have more important things to focus on. Blackpool are fighting a relegation battle in the Championship and we’ve only just got our heads above water in that regard ourselves. Suspect it will come down to which manager takes the game seriously enough to pick their strongest side and which set of players want it more.

Cooper said in an interview he was still thinking about the game and what to do, but hinted he'd make changes
Our second string would be something like this, which you think might be enough
Hennessey Williams - Cook - McKenna - Toffolo Colback - OBrien - Hammond Scarpa - Surridge - Dennis

Can't see them risking Dennis though in case of injury if they want rid.

Hopefully we give the cup and Blackpool the respect they deserve and come away with a win.

1-0 Blackpool but Forest have had a few chances, Dennis sounding lively

Not bothered about going out in the Cup but 3-0 with the team we have put out is poor. Neco Williams at fault for the third goal.

Pretty embarrassing
Sounds like Surridge should have scored a few, but this defence shouldn't be conceding three

Just watching it - Surridge, Williams, Colback and McKenna all terrible.
Special mention to Dennis who has put in one of the laziest shittest performances I have seen from a Forest player for many a year

4-0 now - the players who have played are a fucking disgrace turning in a performance like that
The only one who can hold his head up on the coach home is Scarpa

Cooper now has a good idea who isn’t up to it. Surridge, Dennis, Williams, Cook, McKenna. Thanks but time to move on.

Desperately poor second half. Going to single out Williams for special discredit but we've been all over the place all over the park. Couldve been different if Dennis and Surridge could hit a barn door from 18 yards.. both need moving on asap.
Anyhow one less competition to worry about now. Lets hope the result doesnt damage morale.

Just out ground now, stunned really. We missed enough sitters all game and especially in second half to win 3 games and Blackpool went down other end had 3 shots and all went in. Dennis hit bar and looked dangerous but looks too much of a maverick with little end product. Surridge missed sitters, so did O'Brien, so did Dennis.

Disgrace, we should be winning the likes of this even with a second string team.

On the other hand, you can see how we have improved our results recently as some of those in the team today no longer feature in the first team.

Just listening to BBC radio Nottingham and a few comments on here saying we were disgraceful. I really didn't think we were digraceful. If we score one of those many chances at the start of the second half I think we go on to win the game 4-1 and we are all here sat saying how easy we found it. I was sat next to my mate who is a Blackpool fan and he said if it ended up 4-1 to us he wouldn't have complained.
I thought we looked fairly comfortable throughout most of the game. We just didn't defend very well for the goals and every shot they had on target went in.
I haven't been to a game like that in a long time where I have come out puzzled at the score line. We were so wasteful right in front of goal today. And it was as if Blackpool had the clinical ability of man city.
Cooper not happy one bit and understandably no one is happy after that, but I don't think it is something we should be worried about.
Dennis is so frustrating, at times he was dancing around players, hit a lovely effort off the bar but seems to end up in cul-de-sacs or not find someone at the end of a decent run.
Surridge - as much as we rate h as a clinical finisher had an absolute stinker in front of goal,
O'Brien missed another sitter too
And Dennis failed to finish when Scarpa put him in.

Would go as far as saying that all of the back 4 were terrible, despite Toffolo getting the assist I thought to a man at the back we were terrible. I had high hopes for Williams but he seems to be getting worse every game, today he was woeful
Nothing to shout about up top either. Dennis and Surridge. Distinct lack of confidence/match sharpness with both of them - probably more of just an off day for Surridge I actually think he's better much better than we saw today. Dennis - I'm scratching my head about, a shadow of the player he was at Watford
Goes to show that our squad depth, despite all the signings, is incredibly week
Scarpa the only positive for me today
