Danilo has looked quality. Great at winning the ball, great at driving forward and finding some lovely passes none other than the one that gave it to Gibbs white to set up the disallowed goal.
Gibbs white again proving he is a baller.
Scarpa lovely controlled volley that tested de gea.
Gibbs white and Johnson just linked up beautifully but again Johnson has to do better.
Good save by Hennessey to keep us in the tie. We don't look as afraid as we did at 0-0 but united look like they could score at any point to kill the tie.
We need to take a chance.

Gibbs white just looks like he doesn't care who the opposition is. He plays with such confidence, all these little flicks and rollovers and close touches around players Is incredible, mugged casemiro off a couple of times. Such an intelligent and energetic footballer. Reminds me of grealish when he was at villa. Definitely an England player within a. Couple of years.
We have been very good since we went behind, we look less scared, some lovely play between our midfield and attackers
Especially Scarpa, Danilo and Gibbs white have all done well.
In all honesty I think we all expected Antony to put that chance away when they carved us open but we are still well in this time. Hopefully kicking towards the Trent end in second half we can draw level and apply some pressure.

Don't think you can blame Hennessey really. Yes maybe should have parried it away but it was quite a fierce drive and that carthorse weghorst does well to be fair to control the rebound into the back of the net.
That's the fucking last thing we needed. We may as well just fucking go for it now although I fear we already are. That disallowed goal has really fucked us and it was really unecessary for surridge to be that aggressive on being on the last man.

Danilo off who I think has had a wonderful home debut, colback on. Questionable unless Danilo just isn't up to speed yet with fitness etc then fair enough

Man Utd could have had 1/2 more but likewise Forest could have easily had 2/3
Frustrating we've not taken chances and general poor defending for the goals
If we pull a goal back at least there would be something to play for in the 2nd leg

So so disappointing that we are Gona lost this game 3-0. That's what quality/ clinical finishes get you. If someone like Fernandez was to walk into forest team tomorrow he would automatically be the best player we have ever had at the club

Poor tonight - just shows how weak a squad we have. Worrall and McKenna are not good enough at this level. Second half we have been useless

If Gibbs White is injured for any period of time we literally have to get someone decent in.
Tbh I am not that bothered but we need to be better than that. When you look at players like Worrall, McKenna, Frueler, Dennis, Lingard, Colback and Mangala - they are not up to this level

The thing that frustrates me is watching those United subs that came off- rashford, Antony, weghorst just walking on pitch smug look on their face just parading on pitch at full time. We grafted and after Gibbs white went off ( hopefully not with an injury that will keep him out).
We looked good from 1-0 to 2-0 but the quality just wore us down. I would rather cooper put the under 21's team out next week and get docked 10-0 and rest the first team for Leeds on the sunday. I really thought we would keep it so the 2nd leg was at least a contest but there is literally no chance of getting through this time now.
