Never deserved to lose 3-0, on the plus side Scarpa and Danilo look class. As much as I want Worral to do well he just is not up to it at times.
We had some chances but then after the substitutions the game went rather flat.

Conceding just before half time and full time is pretty poor game management
Agree we should put out a weaker side in the 2nd leg and be fresh for the Leeds game

Man Utd have players who’ve won the Champions League and played key roles for top teams at World Cups - this was always theirs for the taking if they wanted it.
My “take away” from tonight is that MGW shows his class as a provider but less so as a finisher. Far too many shots that don’t even look like troubling the keeper. I’d be interested in seeing him play deeper as more of a central midfielder providing through balls to the front three.

So so disappointing that we are Gona lost this game 3-0. That's what quality/ clinical finishes get you. If someone like Fernandez was to walk into forest team tomorrow he would automatically be the best player we have ever had at the club You really he would be the best player we have ever had? Obviously the game changes from generation to generation. I'm only 30 years old and can not give a first hand account of the 'legends' of forest. For me the best player I have ever seen put on the Garibaldi red is Morgan Gibbs white- yes I've not got a huge amount to choose from as generally my conscious support of forest has been an experience of shite. But Gibbs white is by far the most gifted footballer with the highest potential that I've ever seen at the club. |

It's frustrating nights like this but you just have to remember to last year and where we have come from and it's not that surprising. |

The amount of chances we’ve missed here. Underlines that our forwards don’t look good enough for this level. Yet we didn’t sign any forwards in the transfer window?
EDIT: Sorry, forgot we loaned a forward from Newcastle who on average scores about twice in 17-18 matches.

Creditable performance against a very strong Utd side. Couldve gone either way until the last 20 minutes and the tie was over by then anyway.
Definitely lacking options up front but with Awonyi and MGW fit we'll be alright.
Shame Lindgard got injured. What's with our injury list?
