In light of today’s result I’ve just had a look at our final 14 matches and it doesn’t look too promising.
A mixture of matches against the established big guns who we probably don’t stand much of a chance against and teams who are just starting to come good (eg, Leeds, Villa).
Maybe I’m being overly pessimistic but when I try to forecast how many points we might come away with from the rest of the season one way or the other I keep coming to 8 points. Can’t see that being enough, but perhaps you chaps are more optimistic?

For reference, here are the games
Home Everton Newcastle Wolves Man Utd Brighton Southampton Arsenal
Away Spurs Leeds Villa Liverpool Brentford Chelsea Palace
After a few poor performances, I agree, it's hard to see where the points will come from - but I didn't expect us to get points from Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City at home yet we did.
We probably need 3 wins and a couple of draws
Everton, Wolves and Southampton are massive games. If we can win 2 of those and pick up a few more draws at home that'd be a good start.
Away games seem impossible if we can't score. We need to target the Villa and Leeds games if we can, with the Palace game potentially a massive one but I'd prefer a stress free Final day!

While we were shit against West Ham, the game before we drew with City. We are 15-points short of 40 and this seems achievable, especially given the amount of injuries in the team at the moment.

While we were shit against West Ham, the game before we drew with City. We are 15-points short of 40 and this seems achievable, especially given the amount of injuries in the team at the moment. With a fully fit squad we'd get enough points. Lining up like we did yesterday we would not. Defense is obviously the big problem right now. Realistically we might not get any points in March and slip back into the bottom 3. But get Niakhate, Mckenna, Aurier and Awoniyi fit by the start of April (Home: Wolves, ManU, Brighton Away: Leeds, Villa, Liverpool, Brentford) and we could be home and dry by May. The midfield selection needs looking at too.

Relegation odds from Sky Bet:
Bournemouth 1/3
Southampton 1/3
Everton 11/10
Nottingham Forest 7/4
Leeds United 2/1
Wolves 4/1
West Ham 13/2
Leicester 7/1
I take that to mean the bookies have clocked that some of the teams under us are actually better than us or maybe have softer fixtures coming up.
