Big game and tough one to call. A few weeks ago Id have backed us. On recent form it'll be tight. Ideal lineup:

No Yates? No Aurier? No Lodi? Very surprising lineup. Yates and Aurier are both injured. Lodi partner just gave birth so that's probably why he's on the bench today. Great to see Awoniyi back too |

Lineup doesnt inspire much confidence. Then again, Williams, Mangala and Freuler all starred in their internationals. And MGW.
Traore gave us problems down the right in the reverse fixture, maybe why Toffolo got the nod.
Hoping for a performance from Danilo.

Goal was class all round. Great link up between MGW, Dennis and Jonno.
Wolves have had their moments but we've been on top overall. Midfield and front players look cohesive, for once.

Not really. We lost control of the game a bit when we went to 5 at the back. They still couldnt calve out any decent chances... goal came from a deflection from a hit and hope. Still, we've had more than enough chances to kill this one off. Disappointing result if it stays 1-1, but encouraging performance.

Typical really - more than enough to win it and playing Danilo as a striker and 8 at the back. Once again Williams diving in for the goal. Tough ask now to stay up

To me, it appeared there were about 10 minutes of players sitting back, which in my view was a tactical change by cooper and the wrong one. Taiwo and Houyate changed tactics back what they originally were. How I saw the game, cooper messed up. There were other areas that were not covered by coopers tactics. Afraid he has to go now. If that is the best that cooper can muster, heaven knows where he will change tactics dramatically and win the next couple of away games.

No need to go 5 at the back and start pumping long balls forward. After that we lost our shape. That said, if Danilo or Jonno had tucked one of their chances away we'd be lauding Cooper. Bright spot was Dennis + MGW + Jonno looked dangerous throughout, the midfield 3 were solid, Felipe was immense and Niakhate harldy put a foot wrong all game. This team has enough to stay up. |

Should have easily beaten one of the worse sides to have been to the CG this season. Coopers tactics were too defensive at the end but we should have been 2/3 up at that stage
Only three players have scored more than twice this season (BJ, Awoniyi and Surridge)
So much money spent and players in, but they're utterly toothless.
I just can't see where the goals or the points to stay up will come from

You watch he will start the same team against Leeds and if we score try the same thing and they will equalise. At 1-0 Dennis was terrifying them as were MGW and Johnno - so why bring in Worrall and play 3 CDM’s and a back 5? Clueless

Think we have some decent players to go into a new season but half the buys this season do not cut the mustard. MGW could have crossed to BJ rather than shoot himself and that was a definite spitting offence, doesn’t matter if you cannot see the saliva or not, the intention is there so Podence should have got a red. No love lost with Wolves after today.
