For all our failings, we should at least finish about Leicester who are an utter shambles at the moment.

Certainly looks that way, given the next couple of fixtures which we won't get anything from and will be left with too much to do given the form of some of the teams we're fighting relegation with.
What I can't understand though is that when I look at some of the teams I've seen us play at home this season, I can't fathom how they're picking up the points they are. Leicester were the worst team I've seen for years and Wolves weren't much better. Leeds started well but were shit after we scored and Everton looked like they'd concede every time we went forward.
We can complain about injuries I guess but I don't know how much difference they'd make to us.
Next season is likely to be a disaster again as the majority of those players we've signed this season will not want to be in the championship next season. So it's clear out time again.

Filippo Giraldi has just been sacked after 6 months in charge as Sporting director at Forest. Maybe the blame is being laid away from the manager….

Not nice as it means something obviously isn't right behind the scenes. It's just business as usual with the Greeks. Cooper and Dane Murphy should get enormous credit for helping take us up, it sounds like a circus. Wholesale changes of Senior staff every six months Owners son randomly signing players Signing 100 players in 5 years Spending 20m and 200k a week taking Wood and Shelvey out of Newcastle reserves Botched shirt sponsorship I know Marinakis is funding this, but he's wasting a fortune, this is how not to run a football club

Leeds have lost 4-1, 5-1 and 6-1 in the last 4 games
Obviously the other game was a win against Forest...

Ramsdale gifted saints the lead after 1 min and they have just doubled their lead after 14 mins...

I expect Arsenal to win this still, but good start by Southampton!
Some of the games this weekend make me feel quite nervous, there's good opportunities for the teams above to get points, while it's inevitable we'll lose at Anfield
Fulham v Leeds Palace v Everton Leicester v Wolves Bournemouth v West Ham

Well arsenal could easily have won it but will deffo take that with them 1-3 down until last 10 mins or so.
Southampton remain 3 points behind us but better GD

On a more optimistic tone, nothing is decided yet. I had a look at the run in again and it seems a little easier than it did a few weeks ago!
Brighton - losing on penalties after 120 minutes may take its toll Brentford - on the beach Southampton - the only team worse than us! Chelsea - on the beach Arsenal - ok, this is a tough one... Palace - will be on the beach
Other teams down with us aren't full of confidence and have tough run ins too, I know its hard to see where 8 points will come from, but I think 35 points will keep us up.
Leicester will stay up, Bournemouth will just about get away with (thanks Spurs!) and the final two spots will be between us, Leeds and Everton.

Problem is all the teams around us are playing each other:
Southampton (24): Bournemouth (H), Newcastle (A), Nottm Forest (A), Fulham (H), Brighton (A), Liverpool (H),
Everton (28): Newcastle (H), Leicester (A), Brighton (A), Man City (H), Wolves (A), Bournemouth (H)
Leicester (28): Leeds (A), Everton (H), Fulham (A), Liverpool (H), Newcastle (A), West Ham (H)
Leeds (29): Leicester (H), Bournemouth (A), Man City (A), Newcastle (H), West Ham (A), Tottenham (H)
Bournemouth (33): Southampton (A), Leeds (H), Chelsea (H), Crystal Palace (A), Man Utd (H), Everton (A)
Wolves (34): Crystal Palace (H), Brighton (A), Villa (H), Man U (A), Everton (H), Arsenal (A)
We're need Bournemouth, Wolves and West Ham to beat the teams below them and pulling away. If they do this 3 wins could be enough. If not we'll probably need 4. Including 2 from Brentford, Chelsea and Palace away. It's a tall order.

If we could get three wins I'm confident we'd stay up. There's almost no chance it'll need four I think it's more likely we could scrape up with two than need four.
I'd guess 37 is safe, 36 probably safe, 35 touch and go....

Big game tonight - Leeds Leicester. 0-0 draw would do! Wolves Palace not so much a need to keep a close eye on now….

So 1-1 between Leeds and foxes. Thoughts? Best outcome 2 points going elsewhere instead of 3?

Great result for us if we can win tomorrow night. Otherwise result didn’t matter.

Massive game tomorrow.
