Cant really ask for more than that. Every player gave everything in that 2nd half. Some brave substitutions. Just couldnt defend those set pieces.
We will get points playing like that

Just goes to show the players can compete in the Premier league. Makes me even more convinced those blaming the manager over the performances, if the players could be bothered in showing up each week and giving 100% then we wouldn’t be in the position we are in. I reckon that’s us and Southampton down now. Would love to eat my words come the end of the season but I cannot see how we will get enough points to overtake Leeds and Leicester or Everton

Just on our way back - really unlucky today but for some woeful defending. If we show that sort of fight we will pick up some points. Awoniyi unlucky with an overhead kick and Jonno hit the bar

Just seen the short highlights. 2 obvious things for me.
Where on earth was the marking for Liverpool's 2nd. For Jota to chest it, knee it then volley it straight from a free kick is pretty crap on our half.
Also I think Brennan has to score his chance. He doesn't have to lift it anywhere near as much as he does

Just home and watching the goals on MOTD and twice Fruler was at fault - he was the fucking captain today
What on earth does Cooper see in him 🤷🏻♂️

Should have got a point on reflection
3 poor goals let in - we'd be embarrassed to concede them in the Championship - but I'm sure the club will say something like 'we go again' and all will be forgotten...

Coopers plans work eh? Dreadful defending. The opportunity was there, but totelly fluffed it. Another masterclass in how to train defenders to defend by Cooper - he must have more 'plans' than an architect!.

Cooper picks him because he's supposedly reliable and consistent. Id like to know his stats on involvement in chances given away, because on yesterdays showing we'd be better off with Shelvey who at least can create something. If Yates had been playing yesterday we wouldnt have conceded any of those 3 goals. We need at least 6 points from our next 3 games. Its not impossible and if we can go to Selhurst Park needing a win to stay up..

Until the errors we keep making suddenly stop then we are always going to concede. Yesterday was a fighting performance and really need this every game from now in. It is not yet beyond us but it's very hard to see a way out until we really tighten up.

Shelvey kicked off after being named on the subs bench for Liverpool game so Cooper told him to go home. Well done Cooper. Surprised he was named on the bench after that assist for Villa

He should be grateful to even be on the bench. Won the game for Villa and cost us the chance of three points against Everton.
The signing of Wood, Shelvey, and Ayew was classic old style Forest transfer business, all past it and two of them mostly injured. I think we'd have more points, certainly no fewer, if we'd stuck with Dennis, O'Brien, and Surridge. Imagine if Huddersfield had taken a call in the January window last season asking to swap O'Brien for Shelvey? Corberan would have burst out laughing.
