Yeah, that looks about right. I'd expect Biancone be here next season because of his injury situation and Toffolo maybe depending on Richard's injury/Lodi, maybe add Dennis to the out list too. What's the situation with Scarpa? He seemed to be doing alright then just disappeared. Some stories about him sorting out some problem in Brazil but was never seen again. And is Arter out of contract now? He can't have another year to go surely?

Telegraph reporting we're looking to sign Hendo permanantly. Smart move if Navas is asking for crazy money.
I'd keep Scarpa who I think has untapped potential. And Wood, not for his goals but his contribution. Also Dennis as an impact sub. Maybe keep Frueler as a bit-part player. Hang on to Lodi if the price is right. And Biancone for cover. Ship out Kouyate and probably McKenna too.
Priorities are a left winger, centre back and striker. Should have a few more options this time around so defo quality over quantity.

I forget where I read it, but ever since Xmas time, Hendo has been considered our number 1 (excuse the pun) target as soon as Prem safety was secured.
Aurier has a 1 year extension if we stay up, and Filipe has another year left on his contract. So that’s all good.
I’d sign Lodi if the €30m price tag hasn’t increased. I think he’s *just about* worth €30m. Then keep the team that started against Arsenal + Wood Johnson Williams Scarpa Boly for another year Dennis for another year These, I still want to see if they’re any good so would keep another year: Richards (+ who’d buy him right now??) Toff & O’Brien (I think there’s more to come from them) Biancone Freuler (must be better than we’ve seen) Kouyate (good cover for Yates or at CB)
With Colback leaving, that still leaves 20 players on the books to get rid of. Navas & Lingard are high earners with contracts that naturally expire. Shipping the other 18 out will be tough but necessary to get in 3 or 4 quality replacements at:
GK (Horvath might make a back up to Hendo) CB CDM CF

I do believe that part of the loan agreement for Wood was that we agreed to buy him for £15m after his loan deal finished. It looks like we are stuck with him for the next 2 or 3 years. I believe he's on 100k a week at Newcastle. If we pay even half of that it would be a waste.

That's right, it was an obligation to buy after he played three games. I assume structured in this way (rather than buying outright) because of FFP
He has no relegation clause in his contract either, so would receive his full wedge if we went down
Not that I like writing off players early, but I struggle to see how he'd fit into our style of play. A very costly panic buy

Paid far too much for him. Shouldve been £7mn tops. Can see why we signed him though. Decent squad player and wouldve been useful to bring on to protect a lead, brutish enough to hold the ball up and scored a hatful of goals to keep Burnley up. Wouldve done well in the Championship, had we gone down. Maybe we can loan him out to Leeds!
