I have never hoped that we would lose a game, I have never predicted we would lose a game, and I wont.. All I can hope for is the result gets us a new manager.

Can only see a loss and the end for sabri, international break if we are to make a change I guess it's following a defeat today so the new man has as much time before next game to see the players

The agony will be prolonged. I see a narrow one nil win in a game City will be much the better side. Sabri lives to defend another day.

It's not the thing to do......to hope your team lose, but I would gladly take a heavy defeat today....if it guaranteed the end of Lamouchi. Sad thing is, I cannot see us scoring. I cannot see us winning. I can only see a 2-0 win for an in form Bristol City. In fact, I'm at the point where any game we play under this clown will be a loss, or a draw at best.

It would be lunacy to predict anything but a loss again. That said, I don't think we will. Early goal boosts confidence and we win 3-0. Manager sacked in the morning regardless and his replacement that nobody has ever heard of starts Sunday lunchtime. By next Sunday everyone is demanding him out despite not playing a game yet.

That's the big worry Chas, who will EM choose as a replacement. Dare I say it, but I'm beginning to think that the fat bubble might well be one of the problems at the club. He, and his team, appear to have a distinct lack of knowledge regarding the English game. The thinking behind signing a whole new team every summer stinks of naivety.

Paterson to score for them but we’ll win 2-1.
Lamouchi rises like a phoenix from the flames...

Can anyone tell me if their has even been a successful foreign manager to come into the championship and get promotion with a squad on paper as good as ours through negative football?
Or have they all come in and done the typical
' we will have most of the ball We will create the most chances We will go for teams throats We will score as many goals as we can in 90 mins and not rest on our laurels
...bielsa, farke etc'?
I mean you expect it from the Gary megsons of this world but a manager from the continent?
I was well up for backing sabri this season, I've never wanted him out even after the capitulation last season AS LONG AS...
we came back this season and saw something, a lesson had been learnt and we don't rest on giving the team the possession and the chances, you could have even made a claim last season that he was playing to his means and that we didn't have one of the best squads in the division, this season.. no excuse. We have one of the best squads. We have the ability within our squad to take it to teams and put them to the sword but nothing seems to have been learnt and he is reluctant to release the shackles because all he knows is soak up pressure and get them on the break. We can't do that now, it's not working and we have the players to dominate games, so fucking go and do it.
After the first couple of games I was prepared to give the benefit of the doubt that anyone could start a season with a couple of defeats especially with the turnover of players. But to not have a shot on target till second half of Cardiff and to not score a goal yet is inexcusable. I'm sick to death of seeing us have 1 or 2 shots on target on a regular basis.
I assume he will set up 4-2-3-1 and no players will run past grabban at all with the intention of creating anything or scoring anything. Same old past to grabban to get it out to wings to try and find grabban in the box.
Anything but a win today and he needs to go and even if we win unless we turn them over with a free flow attacking game I think he's gone. Shit housing a 1-0 win here will not be acceptable cos that will be the same old shit tactics and negative football that we have seen over past few months and the ball will probably have gone in off grabbans beard

What team would we like to see today? For me..
Samba Christie Mbe soh Mckenna Ioannou ( given Yuri is off) Sow, Arter, Freeman, Lolley, Taylor, Grabban
Or arter and freeman in middle and ameobi in for sow and put on left

At the end of the day I expect him to play 4-2-3-1 maybe ameobi, freeman, Lolley behind grabban and on paper that looks fine but for Christ sake them 4 and the middle 2 of maybe colback and arter ( in turns) need to get in and around that box

If I was more cynical there some sort of scam going on with how we sign players. Take this season's signings, I'd say any manager would want half of them at best. Not sure how you're supposed to effectively manage a squad that's got three or four first teams without telling say 15 to 20 of 'em to stay at home. .

Agreed Blackett did not deserve to start after last weeks performance even if at centre back. McKenna looked alright and wanted to carry the ball forward which was positive. Christie in the first half against Huddersfield looked good.and hope Ionnau is a good signing. Otherwise team looks ok. Good to see Mighten get a start.

Still we are brilliant for accumulators - I had one look at the team and had a score on a Everton and Bristol City double

Well freeman deserves his goal for his individual performances this season but a hit from 25yards from nowhere is a bit different to a good team goal with passes and phases of play.
Defence look a shambles together and the 2 so called holding midfielders aren't tracking anyone running past them. Ioannou been okay to be fair at left back so far trying to get crosses in and on that note fantastic header from mighten and a world class save to deny him. Unbelievable how much room and time the Bristol players have when collecting the ball and running at us.
Bristol, well any team actually looks like they can score when they come at us. Still at least one more goal in this game for Bristol I feel if we don't sort out shit out
