The rubbish spouted in the press lately about our relative position if Houghton was our manager at the start of the season is hilarious, and unrealistic. Performance wise our side looks fractured, vulnerable to the counter-attack or teams that play through the middle. Yes the International break plays in our favour allowing time to recover from injuries, improve teamwork, tactics, positioning and overall confidence but our record after that period is usually exceptionally poor. So I expect a loss.

Well a much improved performance. Barnsley hitting bar twice is a stroke of good fortune. Guerrero not taking at least 1 of his 1 on 1's is criminal. The hold up play and getting the ball out wide has been good and we have created more chances today in 45 mins than we would usually in 4 games.
