Lose
No creative play. Slow predictable build up
Usual terrible performance in centre midfield which Hughton will refuse to change even when losing
Another nail in his boring coffin
Roll on January - let’s hope we get it right next time

He's also the club's top earner. He'll be the first name on the team sheet, unless CH decides to rest him for a game. I'd just like to see one DM on the pitch, and us being on the front foot from the off, taking the game to the opposition, instead of being scared to cross the halfway line until we are 2 down. But I know it will never happen. Swansea are 8/5 to win this. 50 quid for a 130 quid return. Has to be the best bet of the weekend. Forest 0 - 2 Swansea

Forest 0 - 2 Swansea It is exactly the same as last year when Lamouche played Watson and Yates or another defensive midfielder. If you start every game with 7 players including the goalie who can only defend and provide no creativity then you will struggle every week. We have no pace on the wings or up front - so you get slow passing sideways or backwards until someone whacks it up and we lose it. When you think that a useless wanker like Colback is probably on more than Brooks at Bournemouth - as no doubt Knockhart, Arta, Freeman and maybe even Christie are - then you know something is rotten at the club and that includes the 3rd over cautious manager we have had now in a row All managers seem to do these days is try not to lose to keep their jobs

The midfield is killing us as we all know. Absolutely no creativity or spark going forward and it's not as if we have a couple of mean nasty fuckers in there who stop the opposition as we're still leaking goals.
None of our options are quick enough in there, by quick I mean speed of thought and touch. It's all 2/3 touches and then the other side are in position and we have no option but to go back.

Predicting a score I can’t think of Forest scoring, just don’t look at the races unless someone scores a screamer or we win a lucky penalty. I watched the 5-5 draw with Villa from 2 years ago and we looked to have gone a long way backwards from then. Squad is too old, out of shape, no confidence and little flair.
None of the interviews seem to address the problems fans can clearly see so going for much of the same. Up to January we are likely to pick up few points and then spend another £xm on emergency loans. Happy days!

If we stick with the same approach I can’t see us getting a sniff of anything out of this.
Given our accuracy in front of goal we need to spend more time up that end of the pitch. There’s nothing to be gained from being defensive. Stay back in our half we’re going to get rinsed. We won’t succeed in protecting anything. Might as well have a go at them. I’d rather us get slaughtered going for it.

Samba Christie Fig McKenna Ribeiro Yates Colback Knockaert Ameobi Guerrero Taylor
Formation looks ok but central midfield is going to become unstuck again. Guerrero needs time to form a partnership with Taylor, will be way better than Arter in that position. Let’s just see some proper chances created.
Any team we play against is going to come at us hard in the first 10mins knowing we are fragile so need to at least try hold 0-0 for 20mins. Then let’s see if they can at least make a game of it.

Steve Cooper, on Sky, we want to be an offensive team. Wouldn't you just love to hear those few words from a Forest Manager.

There’s something seriously cockeyed about the teams entering and leaving from different parts of the ground when they’re about to spend 90 minutes all over each other. It’s a farce.

How about just fielding fielding some of those subs in the lineup instead. Swan, Mighten, Cafu would be bold and a welcome change. Just something new....

It is just awful
Colback must be the worst centre midfielder we have had in years - no wonder he was despised at Newcastle
