I heard this at lunchtime Ben.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Bubble hasn't had enough. Whatever plan he had in place for Forest has drastically failed.

Also, anyone read The Athletic article by Danny Taylor? I saw it. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s selling up. Seems he’s tried to transplant what’s normal in Greece to here. Looks like it’s falling apart at the seams. I sometimes wonder how half these so called successful businessmen have ever made it in the world given how they can’t run a football club even with a vague degree of competence. |

Also, anyone read The Athletic article by Danny Taylor? I saw it. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s selling up. Seems he’s tried to transplant what’s normal in Greece to here. Looks like it’s falling apart at the seams. I sometimes wonder how half these so called successful businessmen have ever made it in the world given how they can’t run a football club even with a vague degree of competence. Both Fawaz and Marinakis have been successful with football clubs in their respective countries. The problem for them is that they think they can do the same in English football. Sadly, they have both found out that it isn't as easy as that, and that English football is a totally different creature to what they have witnessed in their homelands. |

I've been in the boardroom on a match day twice over the last couple of years. Always felt like a toxic atmosphere in there. There are a load of bubbles who look like they have come off the set of the Sopranos. Vrentzos was always very polite to me. Said if I ever needed anything I could call him. He didn't quite squint, come close and empathise "anything" but I could the impression he would be able to get rid of a body if required. |
